Comprehensive education in values is the main engine of Eurocolegio Casvi Boadilla. But that doesn’t end when we leave the classroom or the school bell rings at the end of the day.
Throughout the academic year we organise different activities and trips in order to foster pupils’ skills to help them develop capacities and expand their knowledge so they are in a position to tackle a global world. In all of these activities they work on the IB profile attributes. These are the main activities:
Ski Week Every year pupils form 1st year Primary to 4th year Middle School can enjoy their favourite sport at the Grandvalira ski station in Andorra. There they develop values such as hard work and persistence while they ski and snowboard and spend time with their colleagues.
Grandparents Day. Our Preschool pupils hold a special show once a year dedicated to their grandfathers and grandmothers who are so important in their lives. With this artistic experience they work on creativity, rhythm and coordination. Before the party their families can enjoy chocolate and churros prepared by our kitchen staff.
Graduations. Our Baccalaureate pupils graduate in May before they sit the University Access Examinations. They are the stars of the Graduation show where they are presented with a diploma for their achievement in completing this stage.
Christmas Party. For our pupils in Preschool and Primary Education this is an exciting, magical day, as the Three Kings and Santa Claus both come to visit the school sports centre. There they can deliver their letters to Their Majesties and dance to Christmas carols as they have prepared over the previous weeks. 2-Year old pupils can also enjoy the New Year’s celebration with grapes and party materials.
June is also the time when our Preschool pupils graduate before they begin another crucial stage in Primary Education.
End-of-year Party. The school year concludes with the celebration of a benefit party to raise funds for the Fundación Casvi projects in Peru. Our pupils also have the opportunity to participate in the Factor C competition where they demonstrate their musical, artistic and acting skills.
