Casvi Boadilla Guidance Department is responsible for diagnosing and guiding students with different types of difficulties. Families of students with specific educational support needs can now submit their applications for the 2021-2022 academic year.
The deadline for applications is 30th September.
These grants are awarded by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training. The aim is to protect students with specific educational support needs. On the one hand, those with some kind of disability who need special education. On the other hand, students with high abilities who need “complementary activities to formal education”.
If last year students with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) were included as beneficiaries in these grants, this year students with “severe communication and language disorders associated with special educational needs” have been added.
In order to apply for these grants, one of the following documents must be provided:
Grants for pupils with specific needs: direct aid for pupils including those affected by ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder).
Grants for special educational needs derived from disability or serious behavioural, communication or language disorders for large families.
For programmes complementary to formal education for students with educational support associated with high intellectual abilities.
