TWO CASVI BOADILLA TEAMS, SEMIFINALISTS IN TECHNOVATION GIRLS 2025<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Last Saturday, May 24, the national finals of the Technovation Girls 2025<\/strong><\/a> <\/span>was held at the Carlos III University of Madrid, where more than 280 teams presented their apps with solutions to real problems based on the Sustainable Development Goals<\/a>.<\/span> Among them, two groups from our school Casvi Boadilla stood out and managed to qualify for the world semifinal. A real achievement. <\/p>

One of the teams presented the app \u2018GIANt\u2019, inspired by a personal experience: the struggle of the family of one of the participants to find urgent medical attention for a serious childhood heart disease. This tool aims to help other families in critical situations to find fast and effective alternatives, overcoming bureaucratic barriers and misinformation. <\/p>

The school’s second team presented \u2018MedisFace\u2019, an app designed to help children remember when to take their medication. With a user-friendly interface and personalised reminders, the project aims to encourage autonomy in health care from an early age, combining empathy, technology and creativity. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

For five months, our students have not only learned to programme and work with APIs, but also to develop an MVP, design their brand image, draw up a marketing plan and defend the entire project in English before a professional jury. An intense and transformative process, which has even been recognised in national media such as TVE’s news<\/span><\/a>. <\/p>

Technovation Girls, promoted by the Power to Code Foundation, is much more than a competition. It is a platform for girls to discover their potential as creators, not just users, of technology. At Casvi, we believe that education should inspire and empower. And this kind of experience does just that. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
