Colegio Concertado Casvi Boadilla<\/a><\/span> has organised a series of workshops to promote environmental education and care for the environment among its students. During this week, the students of 1st Bachillerato<\/a><\/span> and 1st ESO have become the teachers of their primary school<\/span> classmates, giving theoretical and practical workshops on composting and vermicomposting to primary school students. The activity aims not only to teach about organic waste management, but also to raise awareness of the importance of sustainability and recycling in everyday life. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

This activity has been a perfect opportunity for younger students to understand how the environment can benefit from the proper use of organic waste. During the sessions, both <\/span>secondary<\/a><\/span>and high school students have explained how microorganisms and earthworms play a fundamental role in the decomposition of organic waste, transforming it into compost<\/a><\/span>, a natural and useful fertiliser to enrich the soil.<\/span> <\/p>

In addition, they have shown how composting and vermicomposting<\/a><\/span> work, and have detailed the steps to follow in this process, highlighting the importance of separating waste properly to contribute to a healthier planet.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
