The start of the Arctic Campaign has arrived, and this year, the penguin sponsorship experience has become a unique educational activity. Thanks to a videoconference with the Spanish Antarctic Base Gabriel de Castilla<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, some of our students have been able to interact directly with the people in charge of the base. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

HOW DOES PENGUIN SPONSORSHIP WORK IN ANTARCTICA?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

This programme not only seeks to raise awareness about the importance of Antarctic wildlife conservation, but also how, with small gestures, we can all contribute to the protection of the environment. This year, the campaign is enriched with the active participation of students and the unique experience of connecting with Antarctica. <\/p>

Penguin sponsorship in Antarctica allows participants<\/a><\/span> to contribute to the welfare of these iconic animals. Through this activity, participants help to ensure that penguins on Deception Island can complete their life cycle, from survival to the ability to breed and care for their chicks. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

This symbolic gesture not only has a direct impact on penguin conservation, but also strengthens the commitment to the environment and natural balance.<\/p>\n

In addition, leading this cause is the father of one of our students, Ruiz Robles, who, as head of logistics in Antarctica for the Spanish Army, has played a key role in operations on the white continent. His direct connection to the expedition provides a unique perspective for the students, allowing them to understand the impact and importance of scientific and logistical missions in the region. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

THE EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE OF PENGUIN SPONSORSHIP IN THE ANTARCTIC<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Thanks to a videoconference with the Spanish Antarctic Base Gabriel de Castilla, students from 6th B and 4th A of our primary school<\/a><\/span>, as well as 1st C of our secondary school<\/a><\/span><\/span>, were able<\/span> to interact directly with the people in charge of the base and learn more about the extreme weather conditions and research projects in Antarctica.<\/span> <\/p>

In addition,<\/span> students from the General Baccalaureate<\/a><\/span><\/span> who are studying Biology have participated in the connection, and have had the opportunity to interact actively during the talk, learning first-hand about life in Antarctica and the impact of scientific research.<\/span> <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
