The Juan XXIII Foundation<\/a><\/span> has organized a workshop focused on ecological sustainability and social inclusion, where the students of the Boadilla school have learned about composting and the importance of reducing organic waste. This activity has also promoted the integration of people with intellectual disabilities, highlighting the importance of an inclusive and sustainable future. <\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

In this practical workshop, students of 1st ESO and 1st Bachillerato of our Casvi Boadilla school<\/a><\/span> have explored how composting and circular economy can contribute to a more sustainable world.<\/p>

With the help of July and Morena, members of the foundation and experts in these issues, and through educational activities, they have learned to manage organic waste, promoting both environmental protection and social inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities. The day has shown that caring for the planet and promoting equality are two sides of the same coin. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

COMPOSTING AS A TOOL TO PROMOTE ECOLOGICAL SUSTAINABILITY<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Composting allows transforming organic waste into valuable resources such as natural fertilizer, and is one of the main practices of the circular economy. During the day, our students discovered how to measure factors such as temperature, humidity and pH in compost bins, understanding how this process contributes to reducing the carbon footprint and improving soil quality. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The workshop has highlighted the importance of social inclusion by actively involving people with intellectual disabilities in the educational process.
