At Casvi Boadilla, education is also lived outside the classroom. On the occasion of World Bike Day, our 6th Grade Primary students have participated in a very special day that unites sport, learning and values. How do you experience an activity like this in our school?
ROAD SAFETY IN ACTION ON BICYCLES
Bicycle Day is not only an important date, but also a great opportunity to promote healthy and responsible habits at school. But it is also the perfect time to work on road safetyeducation in a practical and experiential way. At Casvi Boadilla we are committed to active education, which combines knowledge with real experiences.
Our Primary 6 pupils took part in a bike ride organised together with the Local Police, who gave them a talk on road safety and safe mobility. They received key information on how to ride safely, recognise signs and coexist in the urban space. This experience has not only reinforced the content seen in the classroom, but has also allowed them to apply it in a real environment, guided by professionals. Theory and practice came together on two wheels.

MORE THAN PEDALLING: VALUING EVERY CYCLING TRIP
Beyond road learning, this activity has also promoted fundamental values such as respect, teamwork and environmental awareness. Cycling in a group has helped to reinforce empathy, cooperation and individual responsibility in a shared environment.
In addition, they have reflected on how the bicycle is a sustainable and healthy form of mobility, which helps to reduce the ecological footprint. With this type of initiative, at Casvi Boadilla we have encouraged a critical andcommittedapproach to the future from an early age.
