Music Day has been celebrated with great enthusiasm in our Casvi school in Boadilla, transforming our school day into a real party of rhythms, emotions and learning.
WHY IS CELEBRATING WORLD DIABETES DAY SO IMPORTANT?
Music Day is celebrated on November 22 in honor of St. Cecilia, the patron saint of musicians. This date has had a special meaning for all those who enjoy the art of music, reminding us of its transformative power in our lives.
In the educational context, it has always been thought that it helps if children are introduced to music from an early age. It has been proven that this discipline favors the cognitive, emotional and social development of the youngest children.
Music has not only awakened creativity and a love of art, but has also allowed children to develop key skills such as emotional expression, coordination and teamwork. In addition, it has fostered critical thinking and improved concentration, fundamental aspects in their integral formation.
Therefore, celebrating Music Day has been a unique opportunity to show children how music can become a means to explore the world and connect with their own selves.
“It is the purest form of transmission of emotions and feelings.”
“With music you can achieve everything, because music enters our brain and makes us imagine, create, be free...because in the end music is freedom.”
“It means emotion, it is able to go to all the corners of your soul and sometimes it says more than the words themselves.”
THE CELEBRATION OF MUSIC DAY AT CASVI BOADILLA SCHOOL
The music day in Casvi Boadilla has been a day full of emotion and talent. Our celebration has started with a spectacular performance of our school choir, which has thrilled everyone present with their interpretation of We Will Rock You by Queen, a piece that has made the whole educational community vibrate. Accompanied by the teachers and with the live instrumental part, the students have managed to transmit all the energy of this emblematic song.
The day also included a composition of our own school dedicated to Santa Cecilia. This emotional piece has highlighted the importance of music as a means of union and expression, bringing everyone present to the essence of musical art.
During the last few days, our school has been preparing with great enthusiasm for this celebration, immersing itself in the favorite themes of our teachers and those that evoke the most special memories for them.
From current music to timeless classics, we explore a wide variety of styles, such as pop, rock and more, offering a rich and diverse musical experience that connects with all generations.
