Instructions for the start of the academic year 2025-2026

1. The start of the school year will be on Thursday the 4th for Infant and Primary pupils. Primary, with a full day in the morning and afternoon, and the following timetable:

-E. Kindergarten to 3rd Primary School: 9:00 to 12:40 h. and 1:45 to 4:45 pm.

– 4th Grade Primary School to 6th Grade Primary School: 9:00 to 13:30 h. and 14:30 to 16:45 h.

On Friday 5th , classes begin for E.S.O. and Bachillerato students with the following timetable:

– E.S.O.: 9:00 to 13:30 h. and 14:30 to 16:45 h

– 1º and 2º Bachillerato: 9:00 to 15:10 h. (Continuous)

2. For route users:

Families who use the school route will be sent the corresponding stop and schedule on the intranet during the second half of August.

3. Books and school supplies will be delivered directly to the student on the first day of school. You have 2 days to return the textbooks you do not need. The amount will be remitted by bank receipt, and will be divided into three equal payments, and will be collected in October, November and December..

4. School Uniform:

Compulsory from 1st Cycle of Infantile E. 1 year) up to 4th E.S.O. included.

E. Infant 1st cycle and 3 years: They will wear only uniformed tracksuit and T-shirt (we recommend 2 sets) and swimming equipment. Babi (compulsory for Kindergarten students).

E. Pre-school (4 years, 5 years), Primary and Secondary Education.

Male students: Grey long pants, navy blue sweater, white polo shirt and navy blue warm clothes or according to the uniform.

Female students: Plaid skirt (5 cm above the knee) or long gray pants, navy blue sweater, white polo shirt and navy blue or matching uniform.

Regarding footwear, they must wear black or navy blue shoes, as well as socks, navy-colored socks or tights and white, blue or black sneakers.

Sports attire: Tracksuit and T-shirt (compulsory up to 1st Bachillerato), shorts (optional), swimming gear, including cap (compulsory up to 6th grade Primary School) and white or blue sneakers.

It is imperative that ALL CLOTHING BE MARKED WITH THE STUDENT’S NAME.

All of these garments can be purchased at the school during the following hours:

•Julio del 1 al 15 ……………………. from 10:00h. to 14:00 h. and from 16:00h. to 19:00 h.

•Agosto del 25 al 29 ………….. de 10:00h. a 14:00 h. y de 16:00h. a 19:00 h.

•September ……………..…………. from 16:00h. to 19:00 h.

•October from June (tuesday and friday) ………….from16:00h. to 19:00 h.

A 5% discount will be applied to sales made from July 1 to July 10.

All payments will be made in cash or by credit card at the time of purchase.

5. The dining room and transportation services will be available from the first day of class, therefore, if any of you have not confirmed these services and wish to use them, you must inform the Secretary’s Office with due notice.

6. Las actividades extraescolares, darán comienzo el lunes 8 de septiembre, girándose un recibo en el mes julio, sirviendo esto como reserva de plaza y pago del mes de septiembre.

Parent meetings scheduled for the beginning of the school year will be held in person:

BASIC INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS

–The school will be open from 7:30 a.m., offering breakfast service (Infant School, 1st and 2nd Primary School), for those students who need it, from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.

–School starts at 9:00 a.m. so you should arrive 15 minutes early. If this first day can be brought forward a little more, the better, in order to make a graded entry. Teachers will be available at the main entrance of the school to show you where your child’s class is located.

–Students will come in school uniform.

–Students who do not stay in the dining room will be picked up:

E. INFANTIL: in 2 years old A from 12:15h.

E. PRIMARY: 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades at 12:40h. in the secretary’s hall, the 4th, 5th, 6th and E.S.O. students will leave directly from their class at 13:30h.

–La hora de entrada por la tarde será:

E. INFANTIL, 1st, 2nd and 3rd E. PRIMARY, at 13:45h.

E. PRIMARY from 4th to 4th E.S.O., at 14:30h.

–Departure time in the afternoon will be:

In Kindergarten (1, 2 and 3 years old), parents will pick them up at 4:35 pm.

In Kindergarten (4 and 5 years old), parents will pick them up at 4:40 pm.

In 1st , 2nd and 3rd Primary School parents will pick them up from 16:45h. in the courtyard, or in the classroom on rainy days.

Students from 4th Primary to 4th E.S.O. will be dismissed directly from the classroom at 16:45h.

High School students will leave at 15:10h.

–Parents who are going to use the extended hours service must inform the Secretary’s Office, reminding them that the end of this service is at 18:00h.

–If any allergy or other information of interest was not filled out in the registration form, please inform us as soon as possible.

Solidarity party for the end of the 2025 school year

The educational community came together for one of the most eagerly awaited moments of the school year. A special day that combined fun, family participation and a solidarity objective that gave true meaning to the celebration.

SOLIDARITY PARTY WITH A '90S FLAVOUR AND A BIG HEART

The school has bid farewell to the school year with a vibrant solidarity party that brought together families, teachers and students in an unforgettable afternoon. This edition was set in the nostalgic ’90s, with music, series and aesthetics of the time that delighted young and old.

The party was the culmination of several weeks of preparation in the classrooms. Both pupils and teachers were actively involved in the organisation of the event: they made crafts to decorate the different spaces, designed themed posters and recreated popular games from the nineties, encouraging creativity, teamwork and enthusiasm for reliving that special time.

The event was full of activities for all tastes: bouncy castles, traditional games, make-up workshops and themed hairstyles, live performances, a sweets stall and, of course, the eagerly awaited raffle.

But what really gave meaning to the day was the charitable purpose. Thanks to the participation and generosity of all the attendees, funds were raised for the Piura Foundation, an organisation that works to improve the living conditions of communities in vulnerable situations. For this reason, the traditional raffle was held, in which different prizes were raffled off. Here you can see the winningnumbers:

Once again, the school community demonstrates that educating is also teaching to share, collaborate and build a fairer world together from the heart of the school.

Children’s graduation: the end of a magical period

The children’s graduation was one of those moments that mark a before and after. In Casvi Boadilla we have experienced a day that has not only celebrated the end of a stage, but has left a deep impression on the entire educational community. What has made this ceremony so special?

EXPOSICIÓN PEP EN PRIMARIA: UN RECORRIDO POR DÉCADAS QUE ENSEÑAN

In our school, we have celebrated the graduation of the 3rd year Infant students, and we have done so with an emotional ceremony that has reflected everything that this stage has meant. The little ones have closed a magical cycle, in which they have learned, played and grown surrounded by affection and dedication.

During the ceremony, Don Ángel, head of studies, and Sandra Reales, stage coordinator, dedicated some heartfelt words to the children. They recognised their evolution, valued their daily effort and highlighted all the moments shared during these important years.

After the presentation of diplomas, the children surprised everyone with an enthusiastically prepared dance. It was an endearing moment that filled everyone with joy and put the finishing touch to the celebration.

The teaching team wanted to highlight not only the academic progress, but also the emotional development and values experienced by the pupils: autonomy, curiosity, friendship and joy have been fundamental pillars of this stage. Because, according to the World Health Organisation, “this period is characterised by rapid growth and is fundamental for cognitive, physical, social and emotional development”.

APRENDIZAJE IB EN ACCIÓN: LA IMPORTANCIA DE EXPONER

La Exposición PEP en Primaria no es solo un evento final, sino una auténtica representación de la filosofía del IB. Es el momento en el que los alumnos se convierten en protagonistas de su aprendizaje, liderando un proyecto que requiere planificación, toma de decisiones, investigación autónoma y colaboración continua.

Al presentar su trabajo ante familias y comunidad educativa, los estudiantes practican habilidades de comunicación efectiva, confianza en sí mismos y pensamiento reflexivo. Además, comprenden la importancia de aprender desde la experiencia, conectando los contenidos curriculares con contextos reales y significativos.

Este tipo de proyectos promueve una mentalidad abierta y el respeto por las perspectivas históricas y culturales, valores esenciales en una educación internacional y globalizada. Los alumnos descubren que el pasado no es solo una serie de fechas, sino un espejo donde entender mejor el presente y actuar de forma más consciente en el futuro.

La Exposición PEP no solo cierra una etapa: abre la puerta a una nueva, con estudiantes más preparados, seguros y comprometidos con su propio proceso de aprendizaje.

Celebration and tradition at school: this is how we lived San Isidro

The festival of San Isidro is a perfect opportunity to transmit the richness of our traditions and to bring the little ones closer to the culture of Madrid. At Casvi BoadillaSchool, we have turned this celebration into an educational and festive experience that has filled our classrooms and playgrounds with joy.

KNOWING AND VALUING ABOUT MADRID CULTURE : SAN ISIDRO

For several days, the pupils took part in creative workshops and didactic proposals that allowed the children to explore the typical customs of San Isidro. They have designed their own shawls, worked on coordination and rhythm through the chotis dance and got to know some of the most representative traditions of Madrid.

These activities not only encourage creativity, but also help to develop a sense of belonging and respect for cultural heritage. The involvement of teachers and students has been key to creating a festive and enriching atmosphere.

CELEBRATING SAN ISIDRO WITH MUSIC, DANCE AND TRADITIONAL COSTUMES

The most special moment of the week came on the day of San Isidro, when our students , transformed into authentic chulapos and chulapas, danced the chotis that they had practised so hard during the previous days. Dressed for the occasion and with the typical accessories, such as carnations and shawls, they gave us a display of enthusiasm and joy that will always be remembered.

The San Isidro festival in Casvi Boadilla has been much more than a celebration, an opportunity to continue learning through experience, with activities that combine values, artistic expression and knowledge of the cultural environment. An experience full of colour, music and enthusiasm that has united the whole school community. Happy San Isidro!

Grants for the First Cycle of Early Childhood Education of the Community of Madrid

The deadline to apply for the scholarships for the First Cycle of Infant Education is now open by the Community of Madrid. The call for applications has already been published in the Official Gazette (BOCM).

From our Casvi Boadilla school we are committed to quality education from the earliest years. Therefore, we invite families to apply for these grants for the academic year 2025-2026.

CONDITIONS OF ELIGIBILITY

To whom are these grants addressed?

The grants are aimed at families with children between 0 and 3 years of age, who are enrolled in private educational centres authorised by the Community of Madrid. The aim is to support both access to excellent early education and the reconciliation of work and family life.

What requirements must families meet to be eligible for grants?

To be eligible for these grants, applicants must meet a number of requirements set out in the call for applications, including:

Age of the child: The child must be between 0 and 3 years old at the time of application.
Family income: The per capita income of the family is taken into account, following the criteria established in the call for applications.
Employment situation of parents: The employment situation of the parents will be assessed, among other related aspects.

Application deadlines and procedures

The deadline for submitting applications is from 4 June to 24 June 2025. It is crucial that families submit all the required documentation within this period, as no late applications will be accepted.

Applications can be submitted in two ways:

The deadline to apply for grants and aid for students with specific educational support needs from Comunidad de Madrid is now open. The call for applications has already been published in the Official Gazette (BOCM).

From our Casvi Boadilla school we are committed to quality education from the earliest years. Therefore, we invite families to apply for these grants for the academic year 2025-2026.

Application deadlines and procedures

The application period shall run from 30 April 2025 to 11 September 2025 inclusive .

Applications for both grants and subsidies must be completed using the form available online at www.educacionyfp.gob.es or through the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sport’s electronic headquarters at https:// sede.educacion.gob.es.

Day against breast cancer at Casvi Boadilla

One more year, we commemorate the Breast Cancer Day in Casvi Boadilla. The school has been dyed pink and we have carried out different activities adapted to the educational stages of the center. Teachers and students have worn a pink garment or carried a pink ribbon.

The youngest students have made a big pink ribbon that they have placed in the corridors of the center to give visibility. Some of them have been made with their hands stamped in pink paint.

On the other hand, several talks have been held with students of Secondary Education and High School with the intention of:

Recognize the increasing presence of this disease in the world’s population.
Discover in which ways to fight against it (donation, research, support to families, etc.).
Promote solidarity with those affected (patients and their families).

In addition, the students who wanted to, were able to make their own pink ribbons and put them to decorate each classroom.

Duranta su visita, los antiguos alumnos de Casvi Boadilla han compartido con alumnos de bachillerato, cómo han avanzado en sus estudios, carreras universitarias y trayectorias profesionales.

Además, han destacado de qué manera los valores, habilidades y aprendizajes adquiridos durante su etapa escolar han seguido presentes en su día a día, ayudándoles a afrontar nuevos retos personales y laborales.

Este encuentro ha permitido reforzar el vínculo entre el colegio y nuestros antiguos alumnos, poniendo de manifiesto la importancia de una educación integral y duradera.

The deadline to apply for the baccalaureate scholarships for the Spanish education system in authorised private schools, located in the territory of the Community of Madrid for the academic year 2025-2026, is now open. The call for applications has already been published in the Official Gazette (BOCM).

In this way, a firm commitment is made to a policy of grants and study aids that aims to guarantee the quality training of students from Madrid with a view to their incorporation, either in professional life or in higher education studies. For this reason, we invite families to apply for these grants for the 2025-2026 academic year.

To whom are these grants addressed?

The scholarships are aimed at students enrolled in schools authorised by the Regional Ministry of Education, Science and Universities, with the established Baccalaureate level, in private schools for the 2025-2026 academic year , located in the territory of the Community of Madrid.

The deadline for submitting applications will be between 17 June and 7 July. It is crucial that families submit all the required documentation within this period, as no late applications will be accepted .
