The festival of San Isidro is a perfect opportunity to transmit the richness of our traditions and to bring the little ones closer to the culture of Madrid. At Casvi BoadillaSchool, we have turned this celebration into an educational and festive experience that has filled our classrooms and playgrounds with joy.

KNOWING AND VALUING ABOUT MADRID CULTURE : SAN ISIDRO

For several days, the pupils took part in creative workshops and didactic proposals that allowed the children to explore the typical customs of San Isidro. They have designed their own shawls, worked on coordination and rhythm through the chotis dance and got to know some of the most representative traditions of Madrid.

These activities not only encourage creativity, but also help to develop a sense of belonging and respect for cultural heritage. The involvement of teachers and students has been key to creating a festive and enriching atmosphere.

CELEBRATING SAN ISIDRO WITH MUSIC, DANCE AND TRADITIONAL COSTUMES

The most special moment of the week came on the day of San Isidro, when our students , transformed into authentic chulapos and chulapas, danced the chotis that they had practised so hard during the previous days. Dressed for the occasion and with the typical accessories, such as carnations and shawls, they gave us a display of enthusiasm and joy that will always be remembered.

The San Isidro festival in Casvi Boadilla has been much more than a celebration, an opportunity to continue learning through experience, with activities that combine values, artistic expression and knowledge of the cultural environment. An experience full of colour, music and enthusiasm that has united the whole school community. Happy San Isidro!

Grants for the First Cycle of Early Childhood Education of the Community of Madrid

The deadline to apply for the scholarships for the First Cycle of Infant Education is now open by the Community of Madrid. The call for applications has already been published in the Official Gazette (BOCM).

From our Casvi Boadilla school we are committed to quality education from the earliest years. Therefore, we invite families to apply for these grants for the academic year 2025-2026.

CONDITIONS OF ELIGIBILITY

To whom are these grants addressed?

The grants are aimed at families with children between 0 and 3 years of age, who are enrolled in private educational centres authorised by the Community of Madrid. The aim is to support both access to excellent early education and the reconciliation of work and family life.

What requirements must families meet to be eligible for grants?

To be eligible for these grants, applicants must meet a number of requirements set out in the call for applications, including:

Age of the child: The child must be between 0 and 3 years old at the time of application.
Family income: The per capita income of the family is taken into account, following the criteria established in the call for applications.
Employment situation of parents: The employment situation of the parents will be assessed, among other related aspects.

Application deadlines and procedures

The deadline for submitting applications is from 4 June to 24 June 2025. It is crucial that families submit all the required documentation within this period, as no late applications will be accepted.

Applications can be submitted in two ways:

Telematically: Through the electronic office of the Community of Madrid.
In person: At the points authorised by the Community of Madrid for this procedure.

The school where the pupil attends school.
The school requested as first choice during the admission period.
The Registry Offices of the Community of Madrid.

The deadline to apply for grants and aid for students with specific educational support needs from Comunidad de Madrid is now open. The call for applications has already been published in the Official Gazette (BOCM).

From our Casvi Boadilla school we are committed to quality education from the earliest years. Therefore, we invite families to apply for these grants for the academic year 2025-2026.

Application deadlines and procedures

The application period shall run from 30 April 2025 to 11 September 2025 inclusive .

Applications for both grants and subsidies must be completed using the form available online at www.educacionyfp.gob.es or through the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sport’s electronic headquarters at https:// sede.educacion.gob.es.

Day against breast cancer at Casvi Boadilla

One more year, we commemorate the Breast Cancer Day in Casvi Boadilla. The school has been dyed pink and we have carried out different activities adapted to the educational stages of the center. Teachers and students have worn a pink garment or carried a pink ribbon.

The youngest students have made a big pink ribbon that they have placed in the corridors of the center to give visibility. Some of them have been made with their hands stamped in pink paint.

On the other hand, several talks have been held with students of Secondary Education and High School with the intention of:

Recognize the increasing presence of this disease in the world’s population.
Discover in which ways to fight against it (donation, research, support to families, etc.).
Promote solidarity with those affected (patients and their families).

In addition, the students who wanted to, were able to make their own pink ribbons and put them to decorate each classroom.

Duranta su visita, los antiguos alumnos de Casvi Boadilla han compartido con alumnos de bachillerato, cómo han avanzado en sus estudios, carreras universitarias y trayectorias profesionales.

Además, han destacado de qué manera los valores, habilidades y aprendizajes adquiridos durante su etapa escolar han seguido presentes en su día a día, ayudándoles a afrontar nuevos retos personales y laborales.

Este encuentro ha permitido reforzar el vínculo entre el colegio y nuestros antiguos alumnos, poniendo de manifiesto la importancia de una educación integral y duradera.

The deadline to apply for the baccalaureate scholarships for the Spanish education system in authorised private schools, located in the territory of the Community of Madrid for the academic year 2025-2026, is now open. The call for applications has already been published in the Official Gazette (BOCM).

In this way, a firm commitment is made to a policy of grants and study aids that aims to guarantee the quality training of students from Madrid with a view to their incorporation, either in professional life or in higher education studies. For this reason, we invite families to apply for these grants for the 2025-2026 academic year.

To whom are these grants addressed?

The scholarships are aimed at students enrolled in schools authorised by the Regional Ministry of Education, Science and Universities, with the established Baccalaureate level, in private schools for the 2025-2026 academic year , located in the territory of the Community of Madrid.

A Grandparents’ Day full of love and emotion

Grandparents’ Day was celebrated in our Casvi Boadilla school, a day full of emotions and unforgettable moments. Our students enjoyed a unique experience with their grandparents, who were the real protagonists of this special day.

A BREAKFAST FULL OF LOVE TO CELEBRATE GRANDPARENTS' DAY

The celebration began with a delicious chocolate with churros, prepared with love for our elders. It was a perfect occasion for the children to share laughter, anecdotes and endearing moments with their grandparents in a warm and familiar atmosphere. This moment was the beginning of a day that became a true tribute to the figure of grandparents.

THE SPECTACLE OF THE LITTLE ONES ON GRANDPARENTS' DAY

After breakfast, the Infant students offered an emotional show prepared with a lot of effort and dedication. This year, the central theme was the world of musicals. Under the slogan “Singing Dreams”, the little ones dazzled the audience with songs from plays such as Mamma Mia, We Will Rock You, The Sound of Music and Hoy no me puedo levantar.

The show was a resounding success, the result of numerous rehearsals and teamwork, leaving everyone with a smile and, above all, with an indelible memory of Grandparents’ Day.

Throughout the year, our school organizes various activities that allow our students and their families to share experiences, strengthen bonds and create lasting memories. Grandparents’ Day is a clear example of how, at Casvi Boadilla, every event has a purpose beyond fun, contributing to the growth and development of our students and reinforcing the sense of community.

Today, the Casvi Boadilla School has taken another step forward in supporting the vocational guidance of its students with the celebration of the 10th edition of the University Fair. An event that has brought together almost 40 academic institutions, offering students the opportunity to explore their educational options and make informed decisions about their academic and professional future.

UNIVERSITIES PRESENT TO GUIDE STUDENTS INTO THEIR FUTURE

Our Casvi School in Boadilla del Monte has become a key meeting point for students in the 4th year of ESO, 1st and 2nd year of Bachillerato.

Many universities, both public and private, national and international, were present, providing detailed information on academic programmes, scholarships, entry requirements and international exchange opportunities.

The students were able to learn first-hand about the possibilities offered by each institution and resolve doubts about the steps to follow in order to achieve their academic and professional goals.

A COMPREHENSIVE VOCATIONAL GUIDANCE PROGRAMME

The University Fair was not an isolated event, but part of a comprehensive programme of the Vocational Guidance Department that Casvi Boadilla School carries out throughout the school year. Digital communication and teenagers

In Casvi Boadilla lcreativity and technology have taken centre stage in the class of Science class in Computing. The students in Year 2 of our A-Levels general have had the opportunity to turn their ideas into digital projects, developing online games a36> which combine programming, design and problem-solving of problems. This activity has encouraged experimentation and innovation, as well as enabling each student to let their imagination run free to their imagination whilst applying concepts learned in class.

HOW HAVE THEY CREATED THEIR OWN VIDEO GAMES?

During the project, the pupils defined the mechanics, objectives and rules for their games, applying programming structures and computational logic. Each stage of development has also allowed them to experiment with interfaces, colours, sounds and movements, creating interactive experiences that reflect their creativity and attention to detail.

The debugging and optimisation of the games has been a process of constant and, in this way, they have learnt to identify errors, propose solutions and test different versions until achieving satisfactory results.

HEALTHY DIGITAL COMMUNICATION: KEY POINTS FOR SUPPORTING FROM HOME AND FROM THE CLASSROOM

Each final project has reflected the personality and the interests of its creator, combining narrative, logical challenges and visual elements. The pupils have been able to experiment with digital interaction whilst reinforcing cross-curricular skills, such as independence, perseverance and taking of decisions.

Furthermore, some have drawn inspiration from key figures in the sector to understand how creativity and programming can be integrated into meaningful digital experiences. The results have been projects original which demonstrate how technology and imagination can come together in a way that is both educational and fun.
