CHARTER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (PYP)
Charter Elementary School: Elementary Education (PYP)
Thanks to our experience as a charter elementary school, we know what is appropriate for each of the stages. In elementary school, we create routines and habits of work and study that help them in their transition to Secondary and Baccalaureate.
During this transition, the students feel accompanied at all times, searching, little by little and with the support of the teachers, for their own talents and interests.
We continue to emphasize the encouragement of reading and oral and written expression, always working in an interdisciplinary way.
During the Elementary Education stage, we continue with the development of students towards an IB profile, a methodology implemented in the school in both Primary and Secondary.
Charter Elementary School and IB
Elementary school and sports
Today’s competitive environment makes us teach students to identify a healthy challenge that motivates them and helps them to achieve their goals. Within the framework of the International Baccalaureate, the promotion of sports is one of the objectives of our teaching methodology.
Elementary school and languages
Languages are another key pillar of the center since the objective is that our students have a globalized and international mind. In addition, in pursuit of this same interculturality, our students have the opportunity to make exchanges and live with different cultures.
Charter and NNTT Elementary School
As leaders of the future, our students start learning to program in 3rd grade. In 5th grade, they have their own iPads with videos, graphics, and interactive activities with which to learn without limits
Elementary school and PYP project
At the end of the elementary school stage, and following the line of our IB methodology, our students present a project (PYP Exhibition). In this exhibition, our students show all the knowledge and skills acquired during this stage. Through this group work, they promote the attributes of the International Baccalaureate profile, which they have already been working on during Infant and Elementary School through experimentation and inquiry.
With this presentation of the inquiry, they close the Elementary Education stage, as well as demonstrate their knowledge, conceptual learning, and the development of skills that will help them to face their passage to Ed. High School.
