Academic talent and human values have once again been the protagonists in a new edition of the Boadilla del Monte 10 Awards, an initiative of the City Council that seeks to recognise the most outstanding students in the municipality. Casvi Boadilla has been one of the schools with award-winning students, and we want to share this pride with our entire educational community.

WHAT DO THE 10 BOADILLA DEL MONTE AWARDS RECOGNISE?

Boadilla del Monte Town Council ‘s Plan 10 is an annual educational programme that rewards the academic excellence and social commitment of Primary, Secondary and Baccalaureate students from schools in the municipality.

The aim is not only to highlight the best marks, but also to highlight exemplary attitudes and behaviour. For this reason, the 10 Boadilla del Monte Awards focus on two main areas:

Los alumnos de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria también han participado activamente en este concurso, mostrando una evolución artística y expresiva acorde a su etapa educativa. En esta categoría, la felicitación premiada ha sido la de Martina López de Dios, 2ºD de ESO, un trabajo que ha sabido combinar originalidad, mensaje y presentación.

FELICITACIONES ELEGIDAS PARA TODA LA COMUNIDAD CASVI

Como broche final a esta iniciativa, el jurado ha seleccionado dos felicitaciones que representarán a toda la comunidad educativa Casvi y que serán las enviadas a las familias en estas fechas tan especiales. Las obras elegidas han sido las de Julia Ropero González, 6ºC de Primaria, y Emma López López, 1ºD de ESO, dos trabajos que han destacado por su sensibilidad, creatividad y capacidad para transmitir el verdadero espíritu navideño.

Desde Casvi Boadilla queremos felicitar a todos los alumnos participantes por su implicación y entusiasmo, y agradecer al profesorado su acompañamiento en este proceso creativo que, una vez más, demuestra que la Navidad también se aprende, se siente y se comparte desde el aula.

We’re back! New school year

Yesterday, the hallways were once again filled with life at our Casvi Boadilla charter school with the arrival of the youngest children in preschool and elementary school. How exciting it was to see their new backpacks, their eyes shining… and the occasional tight hug from mom or dad before entering class! Today it was the turn of the Secondary and High School students, who returned full of energy, ready to tackle the new school year with enthusiasm, reunions, and new goals. You can feel it in the air: the school year has just begun and promises to be unforgettable.

DO YOU REMEMBER YOUR FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL?

Because the nerves, the early mornings and the brand new uniforms are unforgettable. And if you don’t believe us, just ask our teachers…

FIRST IMPRESSIONS OF THE COURSE

The excitement was evident on their faces. The vast majority arrived full of enthusiasm, eager to reconnect with their friends, find out which class they would be in, share their summer experiences, and, of course, proudly show off their new notebooks, pencil cases, and backpacks.

Others observed everything more calmly, as if they needed a couple of days to adapt to the new rhythm. And that’s normal. Because the start of the school year isn’t the same for everyone, but it does have one thing in common: the excitement of starting something new.

Everyone starts the new school year with their own goals. And here at Casvi Boadilla, we accompany them every step of the way to help them achieve those goals, through an education based on academic excellence, values and international experience.

We believe in teaching that goes beyond books, that educates in respect, curiosity and personal growth. This course will be another opportunity to continue building the future of our students, based on closeness, innovation and a passion for education.

Colegios Casvi and EFQM +500 Seal: Commitment to Educational Excellence

A international recognition that certifies our management model based on continuous improvement, innovation and sustainability. This distinction, awarded by the Excellence in Management Club, reaffirms our leadership in the educational field and encourages us to continue to evolve.

CASVI, A BENCHMARK IN QUALITY EDUCATION

The Excellence in Management Club has celebrated in Madrid the Day of Excellent, Innovative and Sustainable Management 2025, an event in which more than 80 organisations have been recognised with the EFQM Seal. Among them, our three schools, which have renewed it: Colegio Internacional Casvi Villaviciosa, Casvi International American School in Tres Cantos and Colegio Concertado Casvi Boadilla.

This recognition reflects our efforts to apply best practices in educational management, ensuring an optimal learning environment for our students and promoting continuous improvement in all areas of our organisation. ABOUT THE EXCELLENCE IN MANAGEMENT CLUB

The Club Excelencia en Gestión is a non-profit association that promotes continuous improvement in organisations from different sectors. Its mission is to connect professionals, share knowledge and promote excellence, innovation and sustainability in management. Under the slogan ‘Sharing and improving together’, it promotes confidence in the future through effective management models.

Founded in 1991, it has more than 230 members and is the only official representative of EFQM in Spain. Its work includes training, advice and recognition of organisations seeking excellence through the implementation of the EFQM Model.

Casvi Schools awarded with the ICT Security Trophy

The Casvi Schools (Colegio Privado Internacional Eurocolegio Casvi, Colegio Concertado Eurocolegio Casvi y Casvi International American School) have been awarded the ICT Security Trophy by Red Seguridad. The award ceremony, attended by up to eight award-winning organizations and professionals, was held at a gala in Madrid. The director of Red Seguridad, Yolanda Duro, was in charge of opening the event.

Our CEO, Juan Luida Yagüe received this Trophy. This recognition is based on the promotion of cybersecurity that schools have been developing over the years through workshops and various actions and initiatives.. The objective is to make students aware of the different risks in the digital environment.

“Cybersecurity is a priority in our schools. We know that protecting our students in the digital environment is crucial. Therefore, we have implemented robust security measures, but we also know that the main security breach is our finger. We have to educate children in the good use of technology, always supporting and counting on the support of the families”.

The prestigious Forbes Magazine has recently published its ranking of the 100 best schools in Spain. In addition, the other two centers of Grupo Educativo Casvi, Colegio Casvi Villaviciosa and Casvi International American School, also stand out in the list.

This recognition makes us one of the reference schools at national level and continue to stand out among the centers of our municipality, Boadilla del Monte.

Why Casvi Boadilla?

This exclusive list and analysis is prepared by a committee of education experts, psychologists and professionals selected by the magazine. In order to elaborate it, they have analyzed more than 300 schools, evaluating different criteria.

International Baccalaureate

The methodology implemented in Casvi Boadilla is that of the International Baccalaureate, with its PYP (Primary School Program) and MYP (Middle Years Program). This method focuses mainly on our students learning by doing, being the protagonists of their own learning and developing the ten attributes of the IB profile.

Citizens of the future

At Casvi Boadilla School, we try to think not only about the professionals of the future, but also about the citizens of the future. Therefore, we work on skills they will need in the future, such as technology, through the Technology, Programming and Robotics Department (TPR) where they carry out projects with which they learn about robotics and programming. They work in teams and develop their creativity and logical thinking.

In this sense, languages are also very important. Therefore, from the time children start school, languages become part of their daily lives, fostering an international mindset. From the beginning, they learn English, and in the Secondary Education stage they also learn French.

In order for students to open their minds and discover other cultures, the school has a Language Exchange Program, which runs from 5th grade through 3rd grade.

Eco-Casvi was born with the same idea of citizens of the future, with the intention of improving environmental policy and raising awareness in the educational community of the need to respect and care for the planet.

In the same way, through Acción Solidaria Casvi, different actions are developed during the school year to train solidarity students and raise awareness in the community.

Mens sana in corpore sano

Sport is part of the Casvi mentality. Therefore, our students have a wide range of sports schools: Basketball School, Judo Club, Indoor Soccer School, Swimming School, Athletics and Triathlon.

In the same way, the Guidance Department, formed by psychologists, pedagogues, psychopedagogues and specialists in Education and in Hearing and Language, works daily analyzing the needs of the students and carrying out different actions so that they can develop their abilities and skills to the maximum.

Casvi Boadilla school renews the Ecoescuelas Green Flag thanks to the project “Every drop counts”.

Last week, our school renewed the Green Flag of the Ecoescuelas program, which recognizes schools that follow a specific methodology when working with students and the educational community, focusing on respect for the environment and environmental care.

In addition, within this context, our students have participated in the “Ecoexperiencia para crear conciencia” (Eco-experience to create awareness) Good Environmental Practices Contest, organized by Salud Ambiental en la Escuela (Environmental Health at School). The Ecoescuelas program awards a Green Flag to schools that follow a seven-step methodology that consists of creating an environmental committee, conducting an eco-audit, designing an action plan, monitoring and evaluating the plan, developing a code of conduct, linking the program to the curriculum, and informing and communicating the program to the local community.

In this sense, the student body plays a very important role in the project presented to the committee This year’s project is called “Every Drop Counts”, a study that arose from our 2nd grade classmates. Primary in its unit of inquiry on good habits. Based on this concern, an eco-audit was carried out to reflect on water consumption at the center and an action plan was drawn up, including activities to raise awareness of responsible water use.

It was the students themselves who analyzed data on rainfall, temperatures and the situation of reservoirs in Spain. The project involves students in various educational activities, such as studying the water cycle, visiting a water exhibition, and participating in contests and events related to the water theme. In addition, concrete measures are implemented in the school, such as the efficient use of faucets, cisterns and the reuse of water in the dining room and playgrounds.

The project seeks to raise awareness of the importance of water and promote concrete actions for its conservation and sustainable use, implementing concrete measures within the center, such as the efficient use of faucets, cisterns and the reuse of water in the dining room and courtyards.

The students responsible for the project were also in charge of presenting it to the Head of Studies of the school, who decided to share it with the rest of the educational community at the entrance of the school, where it is available for anyone interested in knowing a little more about it.
