This week, the students of 1st E.S.O, in the subject of biology, have worked on developing their “pocket water treatment plants”. This learning tool has allowed them to better understand how WWTPs (Wastewater Treatment Plants) work and their importance in the urban water cycle. Thanks to these activities, our students are learning to use the scientific method in a very entertaining way.
ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION: A FUNDAMENTAL PILLAR
Casvi Boadilla’s commitment to environmental education goes beyond specific projects. As an Eco-School, our school promotes environmental education for sustainable development.
This approach is reflected in all our educational activities and programs, and these “pocket scrubbers” are an example of how we integrate sustainability into the school curriculum.
SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT: AN ONGOING COMMITMENT
At Casvi Boadilla, we believe that learning about the environment is very important for all of us to be responsible and take care of our surroundings. Therefore, we are committed to being sustainable, reviewing how we use resources and participating in projects related to environmental education.
In addition, we have renewed the Green Flag of the Eco-Schools program, which shows that we continue to strive to become more and more environmentally friendly.
