GUIDANCE DEPARTMENT
The main objective of Casvi Boadilla's Guidance Department is to help all our students reach an advantageous situation when entering university, the working world or any other situation in life. We do this by developing each of their talents. Thanks to the department, we provide the student with the necessary tools to achieve this.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
We want our students to develop their abilities and skills to the maximum. Therefore, our goal is to help them face university and work life with ease, once they finish their time at school. We want them to be the guides of their own path.
Casvi Boadilla’s Guidance Department is supported by psychologists, pedagogues, psychopedagogues and specialists in Education and Hearing and Language.
In this sense, the specific objectives are:
1. Diagnosis and counseling of students with difficulties
2. Guidance for students at the time of change of educational level (academic and professional guidance).
3. Guidance to parents in parenting
4. Pedagogical guidance to teachers
5. Guidance to students in the different aspects of their development
6. Supervision of the school situation
7. Follow-up of cases
8. Contact and follow-up with external agents
PSYCHO-PEDAGOGICAL ACTIONS
The objective is to guide and help students to successfully pass their school stage. To do this, the Guidance Department at Casvi Boadilla analyzes the needs of the students and carries out the following actions:
1. Early detection of students with developmental delay in the different developmental areas of Early Childhood Education.
2. Interviews with parents, guardians, teachers, and students.
3. Orientation meetings for parents, teachers, and students.
4. Diagnoses students with high abilities and advises the teacher when planning their differentiated instruction.
5. Collaboration in the elaboration of different adaptations.
6. Follow-up of actions taken with students with difficulties.
7. Technical advice in the different aspects of school life.
8. Collaboration in the school’s coexistence plan with the elaboration of socioemociograms.
9. Collaboration in orientation activities in the school.
10. Development of the Career Guidance Program.
11. Possibility of attending to foreign students with no knowledge of the Spanish language or with a serious curricular gap.
12. Implementation of the student mediator project to prevent bullying and improve the climate of coexistence in the school.
13. Psycho-pedagogical evaluations and reports in the event that performance is affected.
VOCATIONAL GUIDANCE
From the Guidance Department of Casvi Boadilla, we want all our students to be clear about where they want to focus their professional future according to their aptitudes and abilities. For this reason, our department works with students to reflect on their professional vocation and on their own self-knowledge. In this way, they will get the most suitable university option for them.
Career Guidance
We work with it so that students can develop their potential and set their future on track from an early age.
Strengths
We help our students to find out their strengths, skills and aptitudes, as well as to know the different itineraries in the different stages they will face throughout their academic future.
Group workshops
All of this is done in a combination of group workshops, individual interview, and aptitude and vocational interest tests.
Fair of Orientación Universitaria
Our 4th year High School and Baccalaureate students participate in it and are informed, in first person, of the training options offered by the different universities. The same happens with the Consultants Fair, which advises students at an international level.
