Childhood cancer is one of the diseases that has the greatest impact on families around the world, but it is also one of the causes that arouses enormous solidarity. In our school, we have had the opportunity to learn more about this cause and do our bit thanks to the collaboration with the Aladina Foundation and Unoentrecienmil who work tirelessly to improve the lives of children and teenagers with cancer.
La metodología IB y su impacto en el aprendizaje
During this month of February, dedicated to the fight against cancer, the 4th and 5th grade students of our primary school have had the opportunity to attend educational talks given by the staff of the Aladina Foundation. During these talks, the students have been able to learn about the difficulties faced by children and adolescents diagnosed with cancer, as well as the advances in their treatment and the ways in which society can support them.
THE "PAÑUELO CHALLENGE": CREATIVITY AND SOLIDARITY IN THE SERVICE OF THE FIGHT AGAINST CHILDHOOD CANCER
El Bachillerato Internacional ha ofrecido a nuestros alumnos la oportunidad de comprender diversas perspectivas culturales y sociales. Han participado en experiencias que han reforzado la colaboración, la conciencia global y la resolución de conflictos. Las experiencias de aprendizaje personalizadas han permitido que cada estudiante haya alcanzado metas específicas, promoviendo tanto el desarrollo intelectual como emocional. Esta combinación ha creado un entorno de aprendizaje dinámico que ha estimulado la motivación y el compromiso de todos.

These types of initiatives remind us that we can all make a small gesture to make a big impact. Childhood cancer research depends on these collaborations, and every euro counts to bring us closer to new breakthroughs in the cure for this disease.
