Last Friday, the Casvi Boadilla school became a vibrant center of energy and solidarity during the celebration of the X Carrera por la Leucemia Infantil La Vuelta al Cole Unoentrecienmil. This event, which has grown in popularity over the years, brought together approximately 100 students who, with enthusiasm and determination, ran for a vitally important cause.
Childhood leukemia is one of the most common forms of childhood cancer, affecting thousands of children each year. According to data from the Spanish Association Against Cancer, around 300 new cases are diagnosed annually in Spain. Research is crucial, as support for these little warriors and their families can make all the difference in their treatment and recovery.
Thanks to the active participation of our students and the generous support of the entire school community, we managed to raise 400 euros. This amount will go to research initiatives and support for children affected by this disease, offering a light of hope in their difficult path.
Every step we took during the race symbolizes our commitment to a better future and the firm belief that solidarity can change lives. We would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who made this event possible: students, teachers, families and collaborators. Your participation and efforts are a true reflection of the community spirit that unites us.
We thank everyone for making this race such a special event. Each of you, from the runners to those who cheered from the finish line, helped create an atmosphere of unity and support. It is gratifying to see the school community come together for such an important cause. Let’s continue to work together to bring hope to those who need it most and remember that every small gesture counts. Thank you for your commitment and for making a difference!
