At Eurocolegio Casvi Boadilla we adapt to what society requires and we want our pupils to be capable of adapting to changes and to the challenges they’ll face in the future. That’s why, from the very beginning we are constantly evolving to encourage our pupils in their academic and personal learning.
We believe it is necessary to commit to those tools that are adequate at any time in order to offer our pupils quality learning and to prepare them to adapt to the needs of today’s society.
This is the reason why we are committed to technological and educational innovation.
Over recent years we have worked with the teaching methods of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO): PYP (Primary Years Programme), MYP (Middle Years Programme) and DP (Baccalaureate Diploma Programme).
We continue to implement a constructivist work method in which inquisitiveness, research and play-based experience are key for pupils to obtain knowledge. This is because the best way to learn and retain knowledge is for pupils to live and experience it first-hand.
For teaching English, materials used are created by our teachers, who with their commitment and dedication achieve significant improvements for pupils in the early stages of their learning. This is combines with the Jolly Phonics Method.
We have introduced New Technologies in the classroom as tools to improve our pupils’ learning and that, through correct and responsible use, improve their academic performance. Our classrooms are fitted with interactive, tactile whiteboards, computers and video projectors.
From 3rd year Primary we introduce pupils to the digital world with Technology, Programming and Robotics, and from 5th year Primary on every pupils uses iPads to expand their knowledge and develop skills to overcome the challenges they will face. On said iPads, pupils have access to textbooks created by the teachers at our centre.
At Casvi Boadilla we have developed an Intranet to make communication between parents, teachers and pupils easier and more efficient. It can also be used on mobile devices via an App.
On our YouTube channel you can find a multitude of videos about our facilities, online classes, our foundation, camps, art & sport, educational offerings, parties, events and much more.
